16/08/04 Sorted!
The above is a picture of moi. I took it at Christmas with my new toy, if I'm looking slightly bleary eyed it's because my brother woke us up at 7 to open our presents ... by the way my bro is 18 yep 18 and he woke us up at 7! Normally he won't surface until at least 2pm in the afternoon. Anyway I'm feeling rather smug and contented. My accommodation came through!! Yay!! I have a slightly larger than average room complete with a bed, easy chair , desk and desk chair, a wardrobe and drawers oh and a bookcase!! Not to mention a sink.
I'm in a flat with 7 other rooms like mine and we share 2 toilets, a bath and a shower, and a kitchen/dining area. Cool huh!
Unfortunately with the good comes bad, my bro wants to stay, for a long holiday! I don't think so. Short visits I can handle but tripping over him the floor for a week would start to drive me bonkers!! Short visits though I can handle. Besides my lease says I can only have a visitor stay for 2 days in 7days.
I've also started to make some friends with people starting my uni, which is great because then I'm not alone!
